Euronet Payments and Remittance Inc. (EPR), a Euronet subsidiary, specializes in providing electronic consumer money transfer and bill payment products. The company’s patented card-based money transfer and bill payment system allows transactions to be initiated primarily through point-of-sale (POS) terminals and Integrated Cash Register Systems (ICR), and can also be initiated through PC, fax or telephone. EPR markets its money transfer and bill payment products under the brand name veloz.

Established in 2000 as TelecommUSA, EPR is a licensed money transmitter and bill payment provider. Our patented (Patent No. US 6,736,314 B2) card-based system is fast and easy to use for both retailers and consumers, and is designed to verify each transaction in compliance with all state and federal regulations such as the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FINCEN) regulations.

EPR’s patented (Patent No. US 6,736,314 B2) system uses a transfer card with a barcode and magnetic stripe containing necessary customer information to process a transaction. It allows retailers to accept cash at a designated POS location and transfer it to any of our 15,500+ money transfer locations and/or any of the more than 5,000 billers connected to the system. Transfers can be picked up in cash, deposited to a bank account or loaded to a stored value card.

EPR has distribution agreements with leading financial organizations throughout Latin America, China, India and the Philippines. We also have a retail base, which include a broad range of independent retailers as well as major chain stores acting as sending locations within the U.S. Our bill payment services are available in the U.S., the U.K. and Poland. Going forward, we plan to expand our money transfer and bill payment services in other markets, taking it to convenient locations, never previously targeted in the industry.
