Gateway Services

Benefiting both card issuers and acquirers, Euronet's Gateway Services provides participating banks with connectivity to international card organizations and local network. Card issuers are provided with access to additional acquiring touchpoints—ATMs and POS terminals via international card networks—and acquirers benefit from added revenue through the ability to accept International Card Organization branded cards. Euronet's Gateway Services include:

• Establishment and maintenance of gateways to networks
  
  
• Switching bank card transactions between network and bank host
  
  
• Processing network incoming/outgoing clearing and settlement files
  
  
• Preparation of files for electronic posting to the bank host
  
  
• Balancing and reconciliation of incoming/outgoing files
  
  
• Installation and maintenance of network back office software at the Euronet Operations Center
  
  
• Inputting and processing of exceptions transactions
  
  
• Compliance with International Card Organization mandates
