Tatra Banka Partners With Euronet for ATM Outsourcing
Euronet will provide ATM outsourcing to Tatra Banka a.s., the third largest bank in Slovakia. Tatra Banka, a wholly owned subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank, Austria, is the largest Raiffeisen operation outside of Austria. Tatra Banka provides services for more than 470,000 Slovakian customers across 88 branches. Tatra Banka represents the third Raiffeisen subsidiary agreement in central Europe, where Euronet has an ATM outsourcing agreement.
Romania's Largest Mobile Operator and Largest Commercial Bank Choose Euronet's ATM Recharge Solution
Euronet announced a joint agreement with MobiFon (Connex) and Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) to provide ATM Recharge Services for Romania's Connex prepaid airtime subscribers via the ATM network owned and operated by BCR. This ATM Recharge agreement expands an existing mobile banking partnership among Romanian industry leaders. Connex is the country's largest mobile operator, with more than 2.1 million subscribers, and BCR is its largest bank, with 275 branches across the country and 3 million customers.
HVB Germany Selects Euronet to Provide ATM Cash Management
Euronet announced an agreement with Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG (HVB), the second largest bank in Germany, to pilot cash management outsourcing services at a limited number of HVB ATMs. HVB Germany, which has 3.3 million retail customers and more than 1,000 ATMs across Germany, will begin coordinating the cash management pilot at 24-60 ATMs with Euronet this month.
Vodafone is Hungary's Third Mobile Operator to Choose Euronet ATM Recharge
Euronet and Vodafone Hungary have implemented Euronet ATM Recharge, which enables Vodafone subscribers to purchase prepaid airtime at 371 Euronet-branded ATMs throughout Hungary. Hungary has more than 5 million mobile phone subscribers with approximately 78% as a prepaid market. Now Euronet Worldwide provides this service to all three GSM mobile operators in Hungary—also Pannon GSM and Westel -- enabling a combined total of more than 4 million Hungarian prepaid customers to easily add minutes to their accounts. |
