Euronet Will Launch First ATM Recharge Program in the UK
Euronet will provide ATM Recharge service with Abbey National plc, the UK bank with relationships in one in three homes, and Orange, the UK's most popular mobile phone service with 12.7 million customers. This service marks the first time that consumers in the UK will be able to add airtime to their prepaid mobile phones via ATMs.
Deutsche Bank 24 Extends Agreement for Euronet's ATM Outsourcing in Poland
Deutsche Bank 24 S.A has agreed to a second five-year contract for Euronet ATM Outsourcing to manage the bank's entire network in Poland. Euronet will provide all ATM driving, transaction routing, settlement/reporting and card management tasks for the bank's in-branch and off-premise ATMs, and will provide the bank's customers with access to Euronet's network of 430 ATMs in Poland.
Euronet Initiates Mobile Transactions With Indonesian Banks; Satelindo Launches Mobile Recharge
Euronet launched Euronet Mobile Recharge for Satelindo, Indonesia's second largest mobile operator. This service begins Euronet's mobile transaction switching in Indonesia, offering connectivity to three local banks, including Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII), one of the largest banks in Indonesia, and two regional banks, Bank Universal (BU) and Bank Ekonomi (BE).
Euronet Drives ATMs inside UK Post Office Branches
Euronet has contracted to drive merchant-replenished ATMs in Post Office branches throughout the United Kingdom. This project is in addition to the full-service ATMs Euronet already operates in 65 Post Office branches. Initially, this comprehensive ATM solution will place merchant-replenished ATMs in approximately 130 Post Office branches, and the potential exists for many more future installations.
Euronet Launches POS Recharge Service for Poland's Centertel Customers
Euronet announces the initiation of POS Recharge service for customers of Centertel's prepaid service in Poland. Centertel boasts the highest number of customers in Poland, a 29% share in the mobile market, and is Poland's leader in the prepaid market. Centertel is the first provider to offer Euronet POS Recharge services to its customer base. |
