Transact expands its retail presence by signing agreements with two of the leading lottery operators in Germany - Westdeutsche Lotterie GmbH & Co. OHG (WestLotto) and Niedersachsen Lotterie - to provide e-top-up services on their lotto terminals. WestLotto and Niedersachsen are amongst the first lottery chains to offer prepaid mobile products in Germany.


October  

Euronet acquires Instreamline S.A., a subsidiary of Piraeus Bank, the third largest private bank in Greece. Instreamline provides credit card and point-of-sale (POS) outsourcing services in addition to debit card and transaction gateway switching services. As part of the multiyear agreement, Euronet will provide credit card, POS and ATM outsourcing services to Piraeus Bank and its affiliates in Albania, Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia.

Transact signs agreements with three leading drugstore chains in Germany - Rossmann, Müller and dm-drogeriemarkt - to provide e-top-up services. This is the first time the three drugstore chains will be offering electronic prepaid mobile products.

Euronet processed approximately 189 million transactions during the third quarter 2005.

Euronet was ranked by FORTUNE magazine as one of America's 100 fastest-growing companies. Euronet ranked number 34 overall on the list and ranked third in overall sales growth category with an annualized growth rate of 99 percent. Fortune's 100 fastest-growing companies list evaluates companies based on profit and sales growth as well as total return for a specific three-year period.

Euronet forms a joint venture company with Arab Financial Services Company B.S.C. (AFS) in the Middle East. Euronet Middle East is based in Bahrain and offers outsourcing capabilities to financial institutions across the Middle East, North Africa, Gulf region and Pakistan.

Euronet launches money transfer services with the acquisition of TelecommUSA (TUSA), a North Carolina based company offering consumer money transfers and bill payment services. TUSA provides money transfers from the U.S. to 15 countries in Latin America including Mexico, Columbia and Brazil. TUSA will operate under the name Euronet Payments and Remittance, Inc., and will be part of Euronet's Prepaid Processing Segment.

Euronet processed approximately 173 million transactions during the second quarter 2005.

Euronet's Cashnet ATM network in India grows even larger with the addition of HDFC Bank in India. HDFC Bank operates India's fourth largest ATM network with nearly 1200 ATMs. The Cashnet network continues to be the largest shared ATM network in the country and now provides access to more than 5,000 ATMs throughout India.

Miro Bergman is appointed Chief Operating Officer of Euronet's Prepaid Processing Segment. Prior to his appointment as COO, Miro previously served as the Managing Director of Euronet's EFT Processing Segment for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA). Simultaneously, John Romney was named Managing Director for Euronet's EFT EMEA Processing Segment. Both Miro and John have been with Euronet since 1997.

For the first time in its history as a public company, Euronet's market capitalization reached the $1 billion mark on the NASDAQ stock exchange. This achievement was driven by the positive announcement of the company's first quarter 2005 earnings.

Euronet processed approximately 144.5 million transactions during the first quarter 2005.

March  

Euronet expands its prepaid presence in Spain with a second acquisition. The company acquired 100% of the assets of Telerecarga S.A., a Spanish prepaid wireless top-up company. This acquisition provides Euronet a leading market share in the Spanish prepaid industry.

Euronet further expanded its U.S. prepaid subsidiary, PaySpot, with the acquisition of Dynamic Telecom. Dynamic Telecom offers prepaid services of wireless top-up and long distance calling cards, and financial services products in convenience store retail chains across the U.S.

Euronet gains a controlling share in ATX Software Ltd., a U.K. based provider of prepaid voucher solutions with customers in more than 25 countries. Euronet increased its total ownership stake to 51% in two separate transactions March 2005 and May 2004.

Euronet processed its one billionth transaction.

Euronet's Software segment signs a partnership agreement with e-ClassicSystems to market its e-Classic's ATM Manager Pro, an ATM channel management software solution to its customer base. This solution will integrate with Euronet's ATM Management Software. 

Euronet signs a multiyear ATM outsourcing agreement with Centurion Bank in India. Centurion Bank is also a part of Euronet's Cashnet ATM network, the largest shared ATM network in India.
