Euronet Payments and Remittance Inc. (formerly TelecommUSA), a Euronet subsidiary, is a consumer financial services company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. It offers electronic consumer money transfer services to customers from the U.S. to destinations in Latin America, China, India and the Philippines as well as bill payment services to consumers within the U.S., the U.K. and Poland. Acquired by Euronet in May 2005, the subsidiary formerly known as TelecommUSA operates under the name Euronet Payments and Remittances, Inc. (EPR), and is part of Euronet’s Prepaid Processing Segment.

EPR markets its patented (Patent No. US 6,736,314 B2) money transfer and bill payment products under the veloz brand. The company is a licensed money transmitter and bill payment provider in Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Washington, Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, Massachusetts, Nevada and New Mexico. EPR has more than 1,400 sending locations in these states offering money transfer and bill payment services. We offer money transfer services from the U.S. to China, India, the Philippines and 15 countries in Latin America - Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru and Uruguay. EPR also offers bill payment services within the U.S., the U.K. and Poland to consumers who can pay their bills to any of the more than 5,000 billers serviced by the company.

EPR’s patented card-based money transfer and bill payment system allows transactions to be initiated primarily through point-of-sale (POS) terminals and Integrated Cash Register Systems (ICR), and can also be initiated through PC, fax or telephone. EPR’s Veloz is a simple, convenient card-based product and can easily be rolled out at many of our retail locations, enabling retailers to offer the money transfer and bill payment products for the first time alongside our prepaid products.
