Euronet TeleRecarga, a Euronet subsidiary, is a leading provider of prepaid wireless airtime in the telecommunications industry in Spain. Acquired by Euronet in March 2005, the company specializes in the electronic distribution of prepaid wireless airtime and other prepaid products. TeleRecarga has its own proprietary multi-service technology platform, which is connected to POS terminals and/or integrated with Electronic Cash Registers (ECRs) of retailers to facilitate the electronic distribution of a wide range of prepaid services.

Currently, TeleRecarga has distribution agreements with national and international wireless carriers such as Telefonica, Vodafone and Orange among others. Besides wireless airtime, the company also supports electronic distribution of prepaid long distance cards.

Established in 1999, TeleRecarga was the first company to develop an online multi-channel electronic payment service for wireless subscribers in Spain.
